Loyola College has once again shot itself in the foot by announcing that
former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani will be the graduation speaker at their Friday, May
20, 9 AM commencement at First Mariner Arena ( Formerly known as the Baltimore
Civic Center). What makes this an abomination is that Giuliani is PRO-ABORTION,
PRO-HOMOSEXUAL, and lived with a woman without benefit of marriage while serving as Mayor
of New York.
Apparently, Loyola has not heard that Pope Benedict XVI has announced that
the CAFETERIA IS CLOSED. An example of putting this into action is Cardinal
Egan's declaration that Marymount Manhattan College in New York can no longer identify
itself as a Catholic Institution. Perhaps William Cardinal Keeler, Archbishop
of Baltimore, should do likewise with Loyola.
Here is what we need you to do IMMEDIATELY:
- Contact Loyola Acting President David Haddad and insist that he cancel
Giuliani. Loyola cannot be both Catholic and have pro-abortion commencement
speakers! Mr. Haddad's phone number is 410-617-2201
- Call William Cardinal Keeler and insist he use his influence to have
Loyola cancel Giuliani. If Loyola does not comply, tell him to courageously and publicly inform
Loyola that they can no longer identify themselves as Catholic!!! Cardinal
Keeler's number is 410-547-5437. Also call the Chancery
at 410-547-5446.
- Call Loyola alumni and tell them to tell David Haddad that they will no
longer support Loyola financially.
- Tell parents who may be constdering sending their sons and daughters to
Loyola that it would not be beneficial for their immortal souls to do so.
- Be at Loyola College at Charles and Coldspring in North Baltimore

morning and afternoon between 7:30 AM and 9 AM and 4 PM and 5:30 PM thru Thursday, May 19 to protest
Loyola's honoring of pro-abort Rudy Giuliani as its May 20 commencement speaker.
Signs and flyers will be available. Consider parking at the Cathredral of Mary Our Queen lower level parking
lot (map)
several blocks north of the campus and taking the Loyola shuttle bus to the
campus.
- If Giuliani does speak on Friday, May 20 at 9 AM, plan on taking the
day off so you can join our protest at First Mariner Arena in downtown
Baltimore. More details to follow!!!
